It was supposed to be here on June 3rd and here Bing is on June 1st. What can I say … how about “damn, that’s a mighty pretty search engine”.
That’s hot air ballons in Turkey. And if you install Microsoft’s Silverlight, you get a full animation experience of the interface. Pretty cool, what? And that is before you even do a search. Never thought of search as wallpaper, a new paradigm?
But how does that relate to actual searching, or as Microsoft wants us to do … decide? I dunno. No need to wonder though, with a marketing budget for Bing alone that is 4 times Google’s entire annual marketing budget … I am sure Microsoft will tell us.
Until then based upon some searches I performed related to very recent client sites, it seems Bing’s indexing is a fair ways behind Google’s. But Bing is live a little early, so try your own searches and let’s see how the index increases. For Microsoft’s sake I hope they are not in the bubble on this. Did I mention, Bing … it’s a real pretty search engine.
